Diploma in Computer Science – TVET CDACC Level 6
Course Overview:
Computer Science Level 6 qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to understand computer organization and architecture, understand operating systems, understand mathematics for computer science, understand fundamentals programming, demonstrate database management skills, develop an information system, understand networking and distributed systems, understand artificial intelligence, understand algorithms and data structures, demonstrate web design skills and understand graphic design
Assessment
The course will be assessed at two levels:
- Internal assessment: conducted continuously by the trainer (internal assessor) who is monitored by an accredited internal verifier.
- External assessment: conducted by an accredited external assessor who is monitored by an accredited external verifier.
The assessors and verifiers are registered by TVET CDACC which also coordinates external assessment.
Certification
A candidate will be issued with a Certificate of Competency for each Unit of Competency. To attain the qualification in Computer Science Level 6, the candidate must demonstrate competence in all the units of competency as given in qualification pack.

Requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) C- (Minus) Or
- Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) And/or
