Skills Certificate in Computer Applications – TVET CDACC Level 3
Course Overview
This course covers the competencies required in Computer Applications. It involves understanding basic computing concepts, applying basic computer skills and understanding computer based communication.
Assessment
The course will be assessed at two levels:
- Internal assessment: conducted continuously by the trainer (internal assessor) who is monitored by an accredited internal verifier
- External assessment: conducted by an accredited external assessor who is monitored by an accredited external verifier
The assessor and verifiers are accredited by TVET CDACC which also coordinates external assessment.
Certification
An individual will be awarded a Record of Achievement on demonstration of competence in a unit of competency. To be awarded Certificate in Computer Applications Level 3, an individual must demonstrate competence in all the units of competency as given in the qualification pack.
