Course Overview:
Certificate in Business Management is designed to equip an individual with competencies for business management. It involves coordinating human resources functions, maintaining customer experience, carrying out corporate image strategies, maintaining business assets and liabilities, controlling business risks and coordinating information communications technology (ICT).
Assessment
The course will be assessed at two levels: internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous and is conducted by the trainer who is monitored by an internal accredited verifier while external assessment is the responsibility of TVET CDACC.
As part of the continuous internal assessment process, trainees will maintain a portfolio of evidence of their achievements.
Certification
A candidate will be issued with a Certificate of Competency on demonstration of competence in a unit of competency. To attain the National Business Management Certificate Level 5, the candidate must demonstrate competence in all the units of competency as given in qualification pack.

Requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) with a minimum mean grade of D (plain) Or
- Business Management Level 4 Certificate Or
- Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) And/or
- As may be guided by relevant regulatory body
