ABOUT THE COURSE

Course overview

The APS-K - Part I course at Jolearn Training College in Nairobi is designed for learners who want recognised professional competence and a clear route into the workplace. The Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K) programme develops practical competence in procurement, contracts, warehousing, logistics, finance and supply-chain operations. It provides a career-focused route into procurement-support roles and progression to CPSP-K.

At Part I, the programme introduces procurement and supply principles alongside organisational, communication, economic, legal and accounting foundations. Learning follows the official KISEB curriculum and is organised into clearly presented papers or sections so that students can understand what they will study before applying. Jolearn supports flexible Full-time, Part-time, Online and Self-Paced learning, subject to the timetable and examination requirements.

This level develops knowledge that can support career opportunities such as Procurement Assistant, Stores Assistant, Logistics Assistant, Inventory Assistant, Supply Chain Assistant. Learners who complete the required examinations can continue to the next programme level and ultimately pursue CPSP-K, Diploma or Degree study in procurement and supply chain management. The course therefore supports both immediate career development and long-term professional progression.
