We collect only information needed to respond to enquiries, process applications, provide college services and meet applicable administrative or legal requirements.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on the service used, this may include your name, phone number, email address, identification and academic details, programme choices, study preferences, application messages, payment or student-record information and technical security information such as a protected version of your IP address.

- To respond to enquiries and provide course guidance.
- To assess, process and follow up applications.
- To verify entry qualifications and complete admission or registration.
- To create and manage authorised student, staff or learning accounts.

Submitting an application authorises Jolearn to contact you about that application using the contact details supplied.
3. Photographs, videos and college publications
Jolearn may take photographs or videos during classes, events, graduation activities and other college programmes. Identifiable images intended for the college website, social-media pages, publications or promotional materials should be used on the basis of clear media consent.
The application form provides a separate voluntary media-consent choice. Declining media consent does not affect application or admission. A person who grants consent may contact the college to withdraw consent for future publication. Withdrawal may not remove materials already lawfully printed, distributed or published before the request was processed.
Where the person is a minor, appropriate consent must be obtained from a parent or legal guardian before identifiable images are used for publicity.
5. Security, storage and retention
Jolearn applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for admissions, student administration, academic, financial, regulatory, dispute-resolution or legal purposes, after which they should be securely deleted, anonymised or archived as applicable.
6. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and legitimate record-keeping requirements, you may ask whether Jolearn holds your information, request access or correction, object to or request restriction of certain processing, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or request deletion of information that is no longer required.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some academic, financial or statutory records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is required.
7. Cookies and connected platforms
The website and connected portals may use essential session cookies required for security, forms and account access. External services linked from this website operate under their own privacy terms.
