The Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS) - Level I course at Jolearn Training College in Nairobi is designed for learners who want recognised professional competence and a clear route into the workplace. The Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS) introduces essential business, accounting, taxation, marketing, communication and digital skills. It provides an accessible starting point for entry-level work, entrepreneurship and progression to the Accounting Technicians Diploma.
At Level I, the programme builds an accessible foundation in entrepreneurship, management, business law, ethics, ICT and practical mathematics. Learning follows the official KASNEB curriculum and is organised into clearly presented papers or sections so that students can understand what they will study before applying. Jolearn supports flexible Full-time, Part-time, Online and Self-Paced learning, subject to the timetable and examination requirements.
This level develops knowledge that can support career opportunities such as Accounts Clerk, Office Assistant, Cashier, Sales Assistant, Small Business Operator. Learners who complete the required examinations can continue to the next programme level and ultimately pursue Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD) or related Certificate study. The course therefore supports both immediate career development and long-term professional progression.
