Course overview
At Certificate level, students build a strong practical foundation and learn how core ideas are applied in day-to-day work. The structured modules develop technical knowledge, communication, problem-solving and workplace readiness while preparing learners to progress confidently to Diploma study. Students study through the available Full-time, Part-time, Online and Self-Paced options, subject to the timetable and practical requirements of each unit.
On successful completion, graduates can pursue opportunities such as Library Assistant, Records Assistant, Registry Clerk, Archives Assistant. The qualification also provides a route to Diploma in Information Studies, Records Management or Library Science. This combination of career preparation and academic progression makes the course suitable for school leavers, working learners and anyone building a long-term career in Information Studies.
