Course overview

The Craft Certificate in Information Studies at Jolearn Training College is a 1 year KNEC-examined programme for learners seeking recognised training in Information Studies. Information Studies prepares learners to organise, preserve and provide access to records and information resources. It covers library operations, archives, records management, digital applications and professional ethics. Graduates can support libraries, registries and information centres or progress to Diploma-level study.

At Certificate level, students build a strong practical foundation and learn how core ideas are applied in day-to-day work.
