KCSE Subject Bridging Classes in Nairobi

Subject bridging may suit you if your overall KCSE grade meets your intended programme's requirement but one or more subject grades fall short. It can also help you prepare to repeat subjects in which you underperformed.

For example, a learner may meet a programme's overall grade requirement but need a higher grade in Mathematics or a science subject. The correct route depends on the programme, the institution's admission policy and KNEC examination rules.

“Bridging” describes our preparation classes. The result comes from sitting an eligible KNEC examination; attending college tuition alone does not produce an upgraded KCSE grade.

Under the 2026 KNEC registration rules, partial repeaters can repeat eligible subjects they previously sat. Partial repeating produces subject results and does not alter the mean grade from the original sitting. Do not assume that it allows you to add a new subject or that every institution will accept the additional results for admission.

Before paying, obtain confirmation from your intended institution that it will accept the repeat-subject results for your chosen programme. Admissions must also check the rules for your actual examination year.

1. Review your previous KCSE result slip and target course requirements.
2. Identify the one, two or three subjects you need to improve.
3. Confirm partial-repeat eligibility and the next available examination opportunity.
4. Arrange tuition, revision and practical sessions where required.
5. Complete examination registration through the applicable authorised process.

Ask about available morning, evening, daytime and online subject classes. Our flyer lists bridging tuition at KSh 10,500 per term. Ask admissions whether this covers one subject or a selected subject package, and request separate details for practicals, registration and examination charges.

The announced final KCSE examination year is 2027. Review your subject requirements promptly so that you can plan tuition and registration around the remaining opportunities. A tuition booking does not reserve an examination place.

Does bridging change my original KCSE mean grade? Partial repeating does not change the mean grade awarded at your original sitting under the 2026 rules. If improving your overall mean grade is your goal, ask about full-repeat requirements.

Can I repeat a subject I did not originally take? The 2026 partial-repeat rules restrict candidates to subjects previously sat and currently offered. Confirm the rules for your intended sitting.

Will bridging guarantee admission to my preferred course? No. The receiving institution must confirm acceptance of your results, and you must meet its other requirements.

Can I repeat three subjects? Our tuition can support a one-, two- or three-subject plan, subject to available classes and examination eligibility.
